TI Innovations in STEM Teaching Award
The TI Innovations in STEM Teaching Award is an annual award sponsored by the Texas Instruments Foundation. It recognizes teachers who improve student achievement in STEM through creative teaching and technology. The award aims to highlight the value of quality STEM education and encourage teachers to continue their innovative work.
Four teachers will be selected for the award, each receiving $10,000: $5,000 for themselves and $5,000 for professional development or classroom needs.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility: Open to 7th through 12th-grade science, technology, engineering, or math teachers in Richardson ISD.
Experience: Must have taught in RISD for at least two years and be considered exemplary and non-traditional.
Recommendation: A written recommendation from the campus principal is required.
Finalist Process: Finalists will be selected and must participate in a 15-minute Zoom interview.
